Trem-O-Tone Studio
The Trem-O-Tone Studio software is a PC application that interfaces to the Trem-O-Tone pedal via USB connection. Most tremolo pedals use only the sine, square, and triangle waves as their LFOs. The Trem-O-Tone Studio gives you unparalleled control over your tremolo effects by allowing you to actually draw your own LFO waveform. The screenshot below shows the waveform used to create the Gallop effect, one of the factory preset patches included on the Trem-O-Tone pedal.

You can download the Trem-O-Tone Studio software here and check out all the tools available for designing your own LFO. (Note that several functions in the software will not be operational when the Trem-O-Tone pedal is not connected to the PC.)

Patch Design Tools
Trem-O-Tone Studio includes 15 tools that make designing your custom tremolo patches as easy as drawing with your mouse.

Drawing Tools: Freehand, Line, and Arc. Design using these standard drawing tools.

Waveform Tools: Sine, Square, and Triangle. Draw waveforms with varying amplitude and period.

Transformation Tools: Select, Reverse, Invert, Horizontal Shift, and Vertical Shift. Transform all or just a section of your waveform with these tools.

Editing Tools: Undo, Redo, Copy, and Paste. Familiar editing tools make the design process a snap.

There is also a Properties menu that lets you set the modulation wave's amplitude range and period. The minimum and maximum amplitude ranges can be set anywhere from 0% to 100%. The period can be set from a minimum of 70 milliseconds to create machine-gunning stutter effects all the way up to a whopping 60 seconds! While not too practical for traditional guitarists, a 60-second period can be quite useful for ambient and experimental musicians.

Patch Management
Trem-O-Tone Studio also features useful tools for storing, sharing, and backing up LFO patches. Among these are the ability to import and export individual patches to PC file. This is especially useful for sharing patches with other Trem-O-Tone users. You can also import and export the entire memory contents from your Trem-O-Tone. This feature makes copying numerous patches at once a snap and gives you virtually limitless storage.

PC Requirements
A PC with the following minimum requirements is needed to run Trem-O-Tone Studio:
- 800 MHz or faster Intel or AMD CPU
- Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7 Operating System
- 256 MB RAM
- 32 MB Video card (1024x768 or better resolution)
- 7 MB hard drive space
- CD-ROM drive

No PC
A PC is not required to use the Trem-O-Tone pedal. While the PC interface is a powerful tool, it is not the pedal's only feature. The Trem-O-Tone is a very smooth-sounding tremolo that contains features and preset LFOs not available in any other pedal. Even if you don't have a computer - don't rule it out!
